Make Ahead Ham, Swiss, Mustard, Poppy Seed Sandwiches

My niece, Cindi, shared a recipe from my mom’s recipe file for make ahead and freeze sandwiches your kids will love and they won’t break the budget!

24 Hamburger Buns
24 Slices Swiss Cheese
24 Slices Honey Ham
1/2 lb. butter
3 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Combine butter, mustard, onion, worcestershire sauce and poppy seed in microwave safe bowl. Melt and combine.

Lay buns out assembly line fashion. Spread butter mixture on each bun top and bottom.

Top with ham and cheese.

Close sandwiches.

Wrap in foil and refrigerate or freeze.

Bake from frozen 400 F for 20-25 minutes.

Bake from defrosted/refrigerated 400 F for 10 minutes.
