With a name like New Belgium, you wouldn’t expect it to be brewed in Fort Collins, Colorado!

It’s 100% employee owned, and was inspired by a bicycle trip across Belgium by its founder (thus one of the first brews “Fat Tire”).  Ranger is named for the New Belgium Beer Rangers who travel and “protect, to pour and to partake” to explore beers brewed at other breweries and come up with ideas for new brews.

We’ve tried Fat Tire, Ranger, and Accumulation and loved them all.  I want to find Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout and give it a try!  Frambozen sounds interesting too (raspberry, I think)
